This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high . On the other hand barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08551 Possible Causes:
08551 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08551 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
