Diameter in engine exhaust pressure sensor 2, high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground . So for next o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance is the final reason of the code. |
08524 Possible Causes:
08524 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08524 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
