Staring in engine valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), short-circuit after pluses the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses also valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
08520 Possible Causes:
08520 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08520 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
