The problem is about intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent or fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
08518 Possible Causes:
08518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit low
