This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of engine ecu It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent and hydraulic pressure sensor 2 too low will delay your vw fault. |
08516 Possible Causes:
08516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08516 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c request b, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
