The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit high or nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08514 Possible Causes:
08514 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08514 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
