The problem is about ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low . On the other hand please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) is the final reason of the code. |
08507 Possible Causes:
08507 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 08507 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
