This something to do with the intake camshaft timing tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit . So for next coolant fan (v7), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
08504 Possible Causes:
08504 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08504 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
