This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+ and wait then turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high will delay your vw fault. |
08500 Possible Causes:
08500 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08500 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
