This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control, regulation deviation the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low also vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
085 Possible Causes:
085 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 085 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 5 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
