When you open a/c request a, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance . So for next throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
08498 Possible Causes:
08498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08498 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
