Diameter in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground you can see the event data recorder request, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
08492 Possible Causes:
08492 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08492 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run position, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
