When you open pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
08492 Possible Causes:
08492 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 08492 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no communication
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
