Diagnosing engine bar with valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
08489 Possible Causes:
08489 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
