The problem is about ignition switch run position, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground . On the other hand supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08486 Possible Causes:
08486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit

What To Check After Fixing 08486 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
