The problem is about nox sensor bank 2, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit high . On the other hand tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08484 Possible Causes:
08484 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 08484 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
