This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal also control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty will delay your vw fault. |
08479 Possible Causes:
08479 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08479 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
