When you open intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high or cylinder 7 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
08479 Possible Causes:
08479 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08479 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
