The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass and motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
08476 Possible Causes:
08476 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08476 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
