The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module defective run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent also secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
08471 Possible Causes:
08471 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 08471 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle control: airflow at idle too low
