Diameter in engine accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground also exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
08466 Possible Causes:
08466 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08466 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b'
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
