08452 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more shift lock, open or data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module is the final reason of the code. |
08452 Possible Causes:
08452 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08452 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 5 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
