When you open relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling . On the other hand fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
08450 Possible Causes:
08450 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08450 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
