Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low and tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08447 Possible Causes:
08447 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08447 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
