08446 Description And Summary : |

When you open engine torque reduction, open / short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition switch accessory position, circuit low . So for next ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08446 Possible Causes:
08446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08446 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
