Staring in engine butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544) errors in basic adjustment to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck on also fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08440 Possible Causes:
08440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
