Diagnosing engine bar with 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low you can see the automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
08438 Possible Causes:
08438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08438 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
