The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ or change malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08435 Possible Causes:
08435 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08435 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
