Diagnosing engine bar with nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2 . So for next please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
08431 Possible Causes:
08431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08431 Code
- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
