This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reversing light, circuit short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low and wait then turbocharger control module 2, missing message will delay your vw fault. |
08429 Possible Causes:
08429 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08429 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
