08429 Possible Causes:
08429 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08429 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
