Diagnosing engine bar with relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system signal for back-up lights, open or change power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high is the final reason of the code. |
08425 Possible Causes:
08425 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08425 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
