The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open or secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
08422 Possible Causes:
08422 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 08422 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of adr control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
