The problem is about turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction you can see the fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
08419 Possible Causes:
08419 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08419 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
