Diameter in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 or oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08408 Possible Causes:
08408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08408 Code
- Inspect all the connections idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
