The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control module defective or different wheel speed signals, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
08406 Possible Causes:
08406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08406 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
