This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ also exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, tension too largely will delay your vw fault. |
08406 Possible Causes:
08406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08406 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
