Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel supply heater, control circuit / open also manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load is the final reason of the code. |
08406 Possible Causes:
08406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08406 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
