08402 Description And Summary : |

When you open fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake malfunction indication light (k83), open you can see the a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08402 Possible Causes:
08402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08402 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
