08401 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction . On the other hand throttle position output, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08401 Possible Causes:
08401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08401 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
