08400 Description And Summary : |

When you open kick down switch, error message from engine contr. run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance or change turbocharger speed sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08400 Possible Causes:
08400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08400 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module throttle actuator position, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
