The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing messages retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open you can see the torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
08399 Possible Causes:
08399 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08399 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
