This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data bus powertrain, missing message from airbag controller and wait then relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
08397 Possible Causes:
08397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08397 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
