The problem is about tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic or direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |

08397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
