Staring in engine please check dtc memory of transmission ecu run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open you can see the turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
08388 Possible Causes:
08388 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08388 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
