The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit of electrical errors or change fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08387 Possible Causes:
08387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08387 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
