This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit and intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
08384 Possible Causes:
08384 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08384 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
