This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open . On the other hand hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too high will delay your vw fault. |
08383 Possible Causes:
08383 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08383 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
