Staring in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles control module defective and air leak between maf and throttle body is the final reason of the code. |
08382 Possible Causes:
08382 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08382 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
