Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circut high or change exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low is the final reason of the code. |
08380 Possible Causes:
08380 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08380 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
