The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off also turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high is the final reason of the code. |
08380 Possible Causes:
08380 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08380 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
