08379 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open and wait then power supply, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
08379 Possible Causes:
08379 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08379 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 3 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
