This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start camshaft position signal output, circuit high you can see the valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
08377 Possible Causes:
08377 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08377 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
