08361 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), electrical malfunction in circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so shift lock, short to ground and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
08361 Possible Causes:
08361 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08361 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too high - engine off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
