The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal and wait then valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
08343 Possible Causes:
08343 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 08343 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal line for fuel pump electronics, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
