The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel additive control module warning lamp request It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain also turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
08341 Possible Causes:
08341 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08341 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
