When you open exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbocharger control module 1, missing message and cylinder 9 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
08340 Possible Causes:
08340 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08340 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
