Staring in engine secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal you can see the charging system, voltage low is the final reason of the code. |
08340 Possible Causes:
08340 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08340 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
